Farm House Kola

Did you know Kola (or cola) isn't some made up word but is actually a nut from West Africa. In fact most of the popular "cola" brands today started out using Kola nuts in their original recipes.

When you stop and think about it colas are just teas concentrated into syrup and mixed into carbonated water. So why not take a step backward and just make a Kola Tea, no artificial flavors, high fructose corn syrup or phosphoric acid.

We've combined Kola Nuts & Cinnamon with ingredients from our farm (Lime Basil and Ginger) to recreate the traditional American cola flavor in the simple form of a tea that you can enjoy hot or cold

For best results boil tea blend in water for at least 1 full minute before turning heat off, then allow to cool to room temp before straining

For sweeteners we prefer a teaspoon of Dark Brown Sugar per serving to really bring home that cola taste

Loved by family young & old

I was excited to try this kola tea & decided to make a cold pitcher to go along with our Labor Day dinner & festivities. Our 4yo grandson had a few sips and loved the taste of "cimanym." One of our girls said it tasted like "good, cold tea & a cinnamon broom...in a good way!" We all loved that it was from a local company near where my husband & I grew up (Weaverville), and wasn't full of a bunch of artificial muck. We will definitely be ordering more special treats for our family to enjoy again & again.
